Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the online admission services of International Science and Technology University ("the University"), available at apply.istu.edu.eu, including the application form, the applicant communications connected to it, and the agent portal (together, "the Service"). The Service is operated by International Science and Technology University Sp. z o.o., Janiszowska 8, 02-264 Warsaw, Poland ("the University", "we", "us"), the service provider. Financial services connected to the Service (the administration of payments, agent commissions and invoicing) are provided by ISTU INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, P.O. Box 35195, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("ISTU Financial Services"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The application is open to persons who are at least 17 years of age on the date of submission. By submitting an application you confirm that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for prospective students applying on their own behalf and for education agencies approved by the University acting on behalf of their candidates.
Applications are identified by the email address you provide, which must be a personal address under your control and is verified with a confirmation code. All admission communications, confirmations, decisions, requests for corrections, acceptance letters and enrolment credentials, are sent to that address. You are responsible for keeping access to it and for checking it, including spam folders. Approved agents receive personal portal credentials, which must be kept confidential; actions taken under an agent account are attributed to the agency.
You warrant that all information entered and all documents uploaded (identity documents, diplomas, transcripts, translations, and any scholarship-related proofs) are true, complete and belong to the applicant. Submitting false, forged or misleading information or documents is grounds for rejecting an application, revoking an offer or an issued acceptance letter, cancelling enrolment, and, where the law requires, notifying the competent authorities. The University may request original documents at any stage.
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Admission decisions (including pre-acceptance, requests for corrections, final acceptance, rejection, and any scholarship award) are made at the University's discretion by its admissions staff in accordance with its academic rules. No decision is made solely by automated means. Deadlines communicated to you (for example a reply-by date for corrections) are binding unless extended in writing.
Tuition and fee amounts shown in the Service are stated per the selected program and are subject to the University's official fee schedule. Online payments are processed by Stripe through a payment link; we never receive or store your card details. Payment administration and receipts are handled by ISTU Financial Services (Section 13). A pre-acceptance becomes a final acceptance only after the required payment is received and confirmed by the University, unless stated otherwise in your pre-acceptance letter.
Acceptance letters issued through the Service are electronic documents bearing a unique reference and a verification code. Their authenticity can be checked at verify.istu.edu.eu. A letter is valid only while its verification status is "valid"; the University may revoke a letter (for example if it was issued in error or obtained with false information), in which case the verification service will report it as revoked. Only the verification service (not a printout or PDF copy by itself) is authoritative for a letter's status.
Agencies may use the agent portal only after registration and written approval by the University. Agents must have the candidate's authorization before submitting an application on the candidate's behalf, must provide the candidate's own personal email address, and must give the candidate all communications the University sends. Commission entitlement, rates and payment periods are as shown in the agent portal and in any separate agency agreement, which prevails in case of conflict. Agent invoices are issued to, and commissions are paid by, ISTU Financial Services, following the invoicing rules shown in the portal (including the one-invoice-per-term rule and the limited right to edit a submitted invoice). The University may suspend or terminate an agent account for breach of these Terms, misconduct toward candidates, or submission of false information.
You must not misuse the Service, including attempting to access other applicants' or agents' data, probing or disrupting the Service, submitting applications in bulk or by automated means, or uploading unlawful or malicious content. We may suspend access that threatens the integrity or security of the Service.
The Service, its design, texts and the University's name, logo and seal are the property of ISTU or its licensors. You may not use them except as needed to apply or, for approved agents, to represent candidates as permitted.
The Service is provided "as is". While we work to keep it available and accurate, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISTU's liability arising from the use of the Service is limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you to the University through the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these Terms; the version published on this page with its effective date applies. Material changes affecting pending applications will be communicated to the email address on file.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. The courts of Warsaw have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules you may enjoy in your country of residence.
